Clifford the Big Red Dog

Our class had a great time with Clifford. We took turns taking home a Clifford bag filled with a stuffed Clifford, a Clifford book, and a journal. In the journal we wrote a story about Clifford's visit to our house. |
We learned about Norman Bridwell, the author of the Clifford books, and put him on our Awesome Author highway. Each day four people chose a book to put in a Clifford bag with the journal and the stuffed Clifford. Mrs. Munter provided lots of choices of books.

After we all had a turn to take a bag home we celebrated a BIG RED DAY. We made headbands with long red ears and put black stuff on our noses. We made Clifford puppets which we used to sing a Clifford song, and we played a math game with dog biscuits. It really was a BIG RED DAY. Look below to see what we looked like on our special day.
