Top O' the Mornin'

Some really crazy things have been happening around our classroom.  When we got to school on St. Patrick's Day there was green and gold leprechaun dust all over our classroom - even on our tables.  The leprechauns had played with all of the green toys in our room and left them all over the place.

When we came into our room we found a leprechaun - really!  We found out that when people are around, if the leprechauns can't hide before you see them, they turn into statues.  Our leprechaun was on the bookshelf where he must have been dancing when we came into the room.  We tried to catch him moving, but we never could.

As part of our great fun celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we went on a treasure hunt for the leprechaun's pot of gold.  We found it in Mr. Waller's 2nd grade classroom and shared the yummy treasure with his class.
